Rising and Falling of the Sun: Hope is the Thing.

“There's a sunrise and a sunset every single day, and they're absolutely free. Don't miss so many of them.” ― Jo Walton

One of the best moments in my life is walking/ jogging, sitting and just watching the sun rising or falling over the horizon, mesmerized by the changing of the colors of the clouds and the sky transformed into one beautiful canvass.

Most part of the year I hurriedly chased mornings for office work, the Christmas holidays gave me the much needed boost. The holidays provided opportunity not to think of time, but of waking up refreshed and more to reflect of the Universe's greatness.

Sunrise and Sunset
by Emily Dickinson

I’ll tell you how the sun rose, --
A ribbon at a time.
The steeples swam in amethyst,
The news like squirrels ran.

The hills untied their bonnet.
The bobolinks begun.
Then I said softly to myself,
“That must have been the sun!”

But how he set, I know not.
There seemed a purple stile
Which little yellow boys and girls
Were climbing all the while.

Till when they reached the other side,
A dominie in gray
Put gently up the evening bars,
And led the flock away.

The capping of Mt. Matutum.

For this year, I vowed to enjoy more sunrise. To jog and walk more. And to marvel at the setting of sun, clinging to hope for new beginnings and opportunities to make things better.♥
